Overview

QuikTech Developer Tools ("QuikTech", "we", "us") is a browser-based utility suite hosted at quiktech.app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights — particularly if you are a California resident.

The tools themselves (cron editor, regex tester, JWT decoder, etc.) run entirely inside your browser. Text or data you enter into any tool is never transmitted to our servers and never leaves your device.

Information We Collect

Tool input data — None. All processing happens locally. We have no access to anything you type into the tools.

Analytics data — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (Measurement ID: G-V6D0DFG4CS) to understand how the site is used. GA4 may automatically collect:

Pages visited and time spent
Referring URL and general geographic region (country / region level)
Browser type, operating system, and device category
IP address (anonymised by GA4 before storage)
A randomly generated analytics identifier stored in a cookie

This data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy. We do not enable Google Signals or cross-device tracking features.

Cookies

GA4 sets first-party cookies (typically _ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visitors and measure usage. These cookies do not contain personal tool input. No other cookies are set by QuikTech.

You can delete or block these cookies at any time through your browser settings. The tools will continue to function normally without cookies.

We do not sell, rent, or share analytics data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

The following third-party services are loaded by this site:

Google Fonts — fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com — delivers typeface files; Google may log requests.
Cloudflare CDN — cdnjs.cloudflare.com — delivers the js-yaml library. Cloudflare may log requests per their Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics 4 — described above.

The site itself is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may retain standard server access logs.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:

Know what personal information is collected about them — see the categories above.
Delete personal information we hold — because we do not store tool input, the only data potentially held is analytics data managed by Google. You can request deletion by contacting us and by using Google's user data deletion tools.
Opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell personal information.
Non-discrimination — exercising your rights will not affect your access to the tools.

Opting Out of Analytics

You can prevent GA4 from collecting data about your visit by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using a browser with tracking protection enabled (e.g. Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, Brave).

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to GA4's default retention settings (up to 14 months for event-level data). We do not retain any tool input data.

Children's Privacy

QuikTech is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in a new effective date at the top of this page.
