Core Guarantee: Tool input is processed locally in your browser. QuikTech does not receive or server-store your tool input, files, tokens, or outputs. Processing does not send tool contents to us. Explicit sharing and submitted reports are user-directed disclosures, described below.
QuikTech Developer Tools ("QuikTech", "we", "us") is a local-first developer utility platform hosted at quiktech.app. This document explains what data stays on your device, what minimal aggregate telemetry is gathered, and how your privacy is protected under California law (CCPA) and international standards.
Tool Input & Output Data — We have zero access to anything you enter into the tools. Whether you paste a confidential JWT, proprietary JSON payload, regular expression, or file to hash, all transformations execute inside your browser runtime via Web Crypto, native string APIs, and bundled client-side libraries.
Browser Local Storage (Non-Sensitive Tools) — For user convenience across reloads, non-sensitive tools (such as JSON Formatter or Regex Tester) may save your recent input to your browser's local storage under namespaced keys (qt:input:*). This data exists solely on your physical device. You can clear it anytime via your browser settings or using the tool's "Clear" button.
Zero Persistence Policy (Sensitive Tools) — Sensitive tools (such as the JWT Decoder) strictly enforce memory-only execution. Inputs to sensitive tools are never written to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, URL query parameters, or fragments.
Analytics Telemetry (Consent-Gated) — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (Measurement ID: G-V6D0DFG4CS) strictly to observe aggregate usage and discover broken user flows. GA4 is initialized with Google Consent Mode v2 defaulting to denied. The analytics script loads only after consent. Choosing Decline in Cookie Preferences stops further app events and removes accessible analytics cookies.
tool_run, copy_result), and UI interactions (e.g. palette_selected).Cron, Regex, and Color offer an explicit Copy share link action. These links contain readable settings in the URL fragment, which is excluded from the initial HTTP request. Regex test text is excluded unless you select Include test string; JWT tokens cannot be shared this way. Imported settings are not automatically saved to local storage.
Anyone receiving a link can read its included input. Your browser history, clipboard sync, or the service you use to send the link may retain it. Use non-sensitive examples. Shared regex patterns wait for a Run shared pattern click before executing.
To maximize privacy and offline reliability, QuikTech hosts runtime parsers and fonts locally. Optional analytics remains an external service:
js-yaml are bundled locally directly within the QuikTech origin (zero CDN requests).Because we do not collect or store user accounts, identities, or tool contents, we hold no personal data associated with your work. You have the right to opt out of analytics tracking at any time using our cookie preferences toggle below or via browser ad/tracker blockers.
